In this current real estate market, so many people are losing their homes. This time of year is especially difficult with the holidays and a homeowner facing foreclosure. Recently, we stopped a foreclosure at the 11th hour for a family with 3 children and they were able to stay in their home for Christmas and the coming New Year. It was comforting to the homeowner to know they weren’t going to lose their home during the week of Christmas. It was rewarding to know that I could educate, enlighten and give direction to this family.

In this current real estate market I often hear of home owners who have in the past paid a third party to help them modify their home mortgage. Many home owners don’t realize that they can go directly to their lender to negotiate a loan modification without paying an upfront fee. On October 11, 2009, Governor Schwarzenegger signed Senate Bill 94 that took effect immediately.

Marvin Rothschild and Sue Langdon set up an open forum meeting to assist the homeless in Tracy.
The objective is to combine the efforts of individuals who are trying to help with whatever they can to ease the hardship of those who are living on the streets. This first meeting is going to happen tonight in the office of Realty World Corral Hollow, in downtown Tracy.
Everyone is invited who would like to contribute either their time, ideas, monetary, or any other type of donations.
